My broker was Stefan, who was very patient with me and very supportive during recent mayhem caused by 30 days of reign of Liz MisTrust. As first time buyer I had a lot of questions, some maybe trivial to others, but Stefan helped me at every step when I needed assistance. 1 week prior to mini budget disaster Stefan found me a mortgage for 157k, which was almost double then what my bank (NatWest) was offering me after 18 years of loyalty and 996 credit score with Experian. I ended up with other mortgage and other house, since the house for 157k wasn't available. But that should show to anyone in doubts, that broker will save you money on your mortgage. You can look up offers by yourself and you can be turned down, while broker can find you deal where you wouldn't even know you could look for one. And if you decide to get a broker service, I highly recommend Tulip Mortgage.
